This restaurant has a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea so one would expect fresh fish especially in the middle of the summer but unfortunately it wasn't our case. We ordered seafood rice for two (36€ but when we got it and I saw all the mussles shells broken I realized they were frozen. If they were fresh, they wouldn't be broken and they would be much tastier. At the end of the meal, I asked the waiter about the fish in the rice and he said that everything was frozen except for the crab. What a pity!! One wouldn't expect frozen fish in such a restaurant, and above all I would expect it to be written on the menu if the fish isn't fresh, but it wasn't the case. I do not recommend this re...
This is a great value and super lunch stop. Staff speak English and were friendly. Service was good and quick. Sitting outside next to the sea was great fun watching the fish and gulls chasing scraps (if it's windy you might want to sit inside though). I had Dorada which came served with boiled potatoes and salad it was a good fish and expertly cooked. The potato was just the right accompaniment. My wife had a cheese salad with green peppers (vegetarian option). With a couple of beers the bill was €26. It's not a fancy place but it was perfect and we enjoyed it a lot.
grande localização!. É uma pena que as instalações se encontrem tão sujas e tão carentes de gosto. Perguntamos entre a massagem garoipa, que não pode ser de garoupa porque não havia, seria de corvina, mas também houve, então era de pargo. era bom, muito saboroso, com peixe fresco. Quanto ao resto deixa muito a desejar. algo desorganizado serviço, e a conta é feita para o velho. Nem sequer sabemos o que estamos a ser acusados ou o quanto estamos a ser acusados.
Unfortunately, it was a weeknight and the only option open late. We came in for a light snack and soft drinks/water. Service was terrible as I had to remind the waiter 3 times what drink I ordered. Then the waiter added a few couvert items, packaged butter, packaged sardine paste, stale bread, and all this was individually added to the final bill and basically increased the bill which was already expensive. We went to this restorant despite the lower grade on trip advisor, as on the other one we were kept waiting... The food was good, the view is perfect (as it is in all restaurant of portinho . The service was nice, the outside is the best when the weither is too hot but it can get cold in April (with the wind . Price are not cheap but fair given the amazing location (and compared with the others . I would come back :
avoid this place, the food is terrible, the fresh fish was way beyond dead, the price is insanely expensive and the service is bad. that's a Portuguese trap waiting to get your money. the only thing that is worthy is the view, but you can take some photos and go eat at one of their neighbors.
