O Mario 100 Espinhas

We were looking for a place to go where we could experience Portugal at its finest, in close proximity to Lisbon, away from the crowds and tourists that now seem to be the norm in the capital. O Mario 100 Espinhas was perfect. Its not easy to accommodate a group of 18 people for a birthday, but the staff of O Mario 100 Espinhas welcomed us and did it well. The fish was delicious we had pre ordered a mix of dourada, robalo and carapau along with potatoes and salad. Simple but very, very good. If you are looking for an authentic experience among locals, dont hesitate to take a trip across the river with the ferry to visit O Mario 100 Espinhas. Muito, muito obrigada!

I decided to have my birthday somewhere a bit off the beaten path this year. We live in lisbon and took 16 friends across the river for an adventure... of course we called ahead but Sr. Jose and his mother took great care of us. The fish was among the best we have had in Portugal and the atmosphere was amazing. They really took care of us and made the day wonderful... we are thankful to them for such a great meal. PS try tthe fried carapau!

Simplesmente fantástico, caldeirada de peixe para 1 pessoa bem servida muito saborosa, prato só confeccionado ao fim de semana pelo que é recomendável reservar mesa e a caldeirada, sardinhas assadas no ponto,saborosas.<br/>Atendimento fantástico e muito atencioso dispensado pelo Sr. José.<br/>Recomendo vivamente o local com a vista de rio, a boa comida e um valor justo.

Simple and honest food! I believe that this is the best restaurant for grilled fish in Estremadura! The fish is fresh and is grilled almost in front you you. The salads are simple and very tasty and so are the veggies served to go with the fish. Deserts are mega yummy! Excellent and very friendly service. A must visit! Réservez une table maintenant

Dos melhores sítios para comer peixe no Barreiro. O preço é um bocadinho acima do esperado mas vale a pena experimentar. o peixe é sempre fresco e o atendimento é simpático. está localizado numa boa zona da cidade onde a vista é também das melhores

Restaurante casual, com uma comida caseira excelente. Tudo o staff tem uma simpatia e atendimento, que juntamente com a vista, fazem uma refeição que o seu desejo é que não acabe.
