All the reviews are spot-on.If you like Portuguese food, this is the place in Bordeaux.It's inexpensive, copious portions, with charming, friendly service.The whole atmosphere is very authentic, very much like what you'd experience in Portugal.Although it's decorated simply, it's an elegant place.The one disadvantage is it's FULL of children who are VERY loud (lots of family meals).So, not so romantic...We'd go back, just to try the suckling pig, which is a specialty, apparently.

The place is rather blend as far as decoration is concerned. Food is excellent and served in large portions. Many choices of Portuguese cod. Family cuisine. Portuguese family atmosphere, excellent service, friendly place. The place is so famous among amateurs that you'd better make a reservation. Price value is good. Worth trying.

The food is Amazing the wine list is very reasonable for Robuchon due to the fact that is in bordeaux and at La Grande Maison own by the owner of 42 chateaux

Très bon restaurant portugais. Famille, le personnel est sympathique on se sent comme chez nous. Les plats sont simples mais très bons.
