We visited the Cathedral of Saint Anne in Quebec, which is absolutely beautiful. I'm not really religious, but the architecture was incredible. However, getting back to the review, we were looking for somewhere nearby to eat and stumbled upon this place across the street, so we decided to give it a try. The small eatery is situated in an old bank, with the vault visible behind a glass door, now used for storage. The atmosphere is cozy and everything is in French with basic English translations provided. We ordered a cheeseburger and a chicken breast sandwich. Needed a quick lunch after visiting Ste Anne de Beaupre and didn't want to sit down at the full-service restaurant across from the historic church. O Peche Mignon is a happy little establishment with made-to-order grilled hotdogs (no steam-roller here), daily soup, sandwiches and soft...ice cream dipped in real Belgian chocolate, with a small selection of gifts that we were able to take advantage of en route to visit friends at a cottage. The two ladies running the place are great and genuinely engaged in making your lunch just like Mom would have. I knew I wanted to try this place. it lies above the road from the cathedrale. this is a caffe with ice. we had the chicken club sandwich for the chicken was hand-cut breast meat. it came. with pommes and cole Slav. we had coffee and cookies. everything was homemade. the owners are older women who take great pride to serve very good, simple food. another rainy day and the coffee was so good. they even offered us more coffee to go. when I checked the tripadvisor places in st. anne, there are some very expensive and fast food chains. Skip! try them instead!

I came here with my twelve year old daughter, we looked forward to mealtime and had a variety of classic dishes from authentic poutine, chicken with potatoes and cole slaw to over easy eggs with bacon on english muffins with sausages. Their dessert list features...a hundred flavours of ice cream namingly maple taffy, date squares and carrot cake with maple icing. I would have to say however that my favourite part were the delicious chocolates made with maple sugar and being with the most courteous friendly, welcoming family who run and own the restaurant. We stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for a place to eat breakfast before visiting the basilica. It was conveniently located on a corner, with free parking on the street. We had a delicious bacon breakfast, which was reasonably priced and came with great service. My aunt even raved about the chocolates they sell.

We stopped by the near shrine of Ste. Anne de Beaupre looking for a bite to eat, but not a full meal. The experience was wonderful! The staff was friendly, the spaces were clean, and many others also stopped by.

I stopped at this restaurant with my kids for a quick snack. The staff is super nice and the food is fresh and like a home cooked meal. Located right across from the Basilica. Will go back again!!!

We stopped here for a mid-afternoon ice cream. We each got the mixed soft serve but my wife also had hers dipped in chocolate. The topping was Belgian chocolate and fantastic!

this place lies directly opposite the church. we had lunch there and the simple food was excellent and reasonable in price. good value for the money and good quality.
