Our server was named Jessica and she was very nice and on top of her game. The sushi was fresh and the special rolls were awesome. The sushi chefs are probably the fastest I have ever had.. these guys were fast. Ordered the orange blossom ond cherry blossom roll with some sashimi and a couple of other rolls.. We go just about every Friday. We can't seem to get away from the Japanese burrito will extra tempura shrimp. We have tried lots of other items over the years like the pink dragon roll and the mixed sashimi dinner. The sashimi cuts are generous and come with heaps of ginger and wasabi. The chefs are clever and quick. Service is fast and graciousThere are only a few tables inside, and outside in fine weather. There is a Regal movie theater in the same parking lot so the crowded times are predictable-usually before movies begin. Check their hours. They don't take reservations and they do a bang up take out business. See you there!
Great food, terrible service!Honestly, best sushi in town. That 's just my opinion. The only reason I can 't give them a 1 star.I just wish service was better and they weren 't so cheap when your order online. It 's more expensive and they through all the food in one plate. Got 3 separate orders and they put everything in one box. I payed more, picked up my food, and didn 't need service. The least you can do is organize out take out better.I know they are busy, but it would be nice if they acknowledge you when your waiting for 10 minutes. No eye contact or We will be right with you.
I recently moved to the area and was looking for a casual place to grab a bite to eat and some sake on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, I ended up ordering too much and was let down by the quality of the food. The seared albacore pieces were oversized and looked discolored. The fried chicken lacked flavor. The sushi appeared to be old and discolored. The only decent item was the avocado roll. On the bright side, the sake was good. It's possible that it was just an off night, but we still paid the full bill and barely touched our food.

The portions were generous and the server was friendly, but my issue was mainly with the food. The restaurant offers a unique twist on sushi that I personally did not enjoy. However, everyone's taste is different, so you may have a different opinion. It could be worth trying out for yourself, as you might appreciate it more than I did. It all comes down to personal preference.
Ahhhhh Mazzzzing!!!! Every time never disappointed! Sushi is so good and the workers are very efficient. You call call it a Hole in the wall but I 'd say it 's the best kept secret! Highly recommend this place
Service was good/fast. Small location but I think I'm noticing for all sushi places for SCV they're all going to be small. Definitely a place you should come for eating nigiri vs rolls.
Excellent food and service! Glad we found this spot, we'll be coming back. Recommend Lion King and Fire Fire roll. Kiddos enjoyed the chicken teriyaki bento.
