I can't tell what's going on but the people are.different and it feels less homey than it used to. Food is B+ not close to Sweet Rice or Bowl Thai, but better than most standard Thai restaurants in LA outside of Thai town and special spots.Something important with Thai food in America is how they understand spice levels. I ordered the pad see ew, green curry, and Tom yum soup. I would rate my experience around 3.5 stars, and I'm being generous. The food was decent, but all three dishes were overly sweet. It felt more like I was eating dessert than a savory meal. I wanted to share this feedback because I truly hope to see improvements so that I can order from here again. O Top Thai BBQ offers fantastic Thai cuisine, complemented by excellent service. While we typically opt for delivery and haven't experienced dining in at the restaurant, which seems quite cozy, the delivery service has consistently impressed us. They always get our special requests right. We particularly love the menu items like fried shrimp, fried wontons, BBQ pork fried rice, and crab fried rice.
So bomb! We tried to bbq spare ribs, pad thai, spicy pad thai, steamed dumplings, orange chicken Bbq spare ribs delicious fall off the bonePad Thai yummy noodles. This is a charming little family-owned restaurant. I stopped by to give it a try and was not disappointed. The kids were busy with their homework while the parents worked hard to make ends meet. The owners are genuinely kind and dedicated. The food was authentic and absolutely delicious. Food: 5/5.
We ordered the Thai BBQ pork and Larb, and it was incredibly delicious! It was vibrant and packed with flavor, and the meal was reasonably priced. We also noticed they were bringing in fresh produce, which guarantees its freshness.
The owner truly cares about her business and it reflects in the service and quality of the food. Restaurants had a tough time through COVID and staff shortages and I'm glad to see this one is making it through.
The Food here is amazing! There service is really good and very nice and entertaining! The Little girls there helps her parents wait tables and it is amazing!
