I genuinely love this place! I've dined here multiple times and always have a fantastic experience. The bar area is perfect for enjoying a burger and catching a game, while the restaurant section features incredible specials (and you can order anything from the dinner menu while sitting at the bar). Overall, it's a clean restaurant with a fun bar atmosphere, offering amazing food and service. The Ale House serves the best thin crust pizza in Northern NJ, and surprisingly, their sushi is out of this world (yes, this Italian restaurant offers authentic sushi)! The steaks are also exceptional! My favorite appetizer is the coconut shrimp!
This restaurant is fantastic! At first glance, it may seem small, but there are actually three additional areas, including a lively bar with live music and a top floor available for parties. I visited on Thanksgiving Eve, and despite the crowd, the live music created a vibrant atmosphere that really made me enjoy my experience. Even better, on Wednesday nights after 8 or 9, they offer a happy hour with drinks for just $3 each. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they do this every Wednesday, and I can't wait to go back. If you're looking for a cool spot to hang out, definitely check this place out!
Located in the bright, clean, quaint downtown area of Maywood, it's a local bar that's not TOO local- strangers non-regulars always feel welcome. Good food great drinks are served by an excellent, fast friendly staff. Occasionally, parking can be tough because of the tiny, tight parking lot, but street parking (sometimes metered) is usually available.
The best burger I've had since moving to New Jersey. Worst fish and chips I've ever had or seen. I don't understand how a restaurant that sells such great steaks and burgers would sell frozen, overcooked, dry fish. Some of the wait staff could be better but most are great, including the bartenders.

The staff is amazing and the food! Never had a bad meal here; 5$ Filet mignon on Mondays especially! If you go down the stairs from the main formal restaurant, there is a large sports bar... Pool table on the back, darts and great specialties. Perfect small town bar near foot!
This restaurant offers fantastic food and a wonderful lunch menu, with most items priced around $6. I especially enjoy the open steak sandwich and the grilled cheese. The staff is consistently friendly, particularly with my young children.
Nice place, good food, low prices and fast waitress. What else could you ask for?
