Oakleigh Fish Chippery

What a gem! Faithful to the way Greeks made fish chips in Australia 40-50 years ago. But better! Plenty of deep fried offerings, yet none of them oily or smelly. The chips are just as I remember them being. And there’s creaming soda, chocolate milk and Bundaberg soft drinks in the fridge! Come for the nostalgia, stay for the wonderful food

stopped in for lunch and had grilled barramundi and brown rice.  Really nice and fresh and reasonably priced.  Friendly staff, great to see healthy options available for sides.   Decor is modern and casual.   Will most certainly go back and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for good quality food, price and service.

I’ve eaten at this fish and chip shop for years. There is no other place in Oakleigh that compares to the fish and chips served here They do the best hamburgers and fries any one could ask for

Clean shop, enjoyable food and great atmosphere to dine in. Our flakes were perfectly cooked, along with the chips and potato cakes. Definitely will visit again!

Classic Greek fish and chips, done well. Friendly staff, good prices, gets the job done. Batter is light, fish cooked perfectly. Would return.
