Oakton Chesapeake Cafe

I had a great experience at this restaurant. Ordering ahead online was convenient, and the bagels were delicious. The everything bagel had an unusual topping mix with a high amount of sesame seeds and less onion, garlic, or salt. Despite this, the other bagels I tried tasted fresh and flavorful. The staff were friendly, and there was no wait despite the shop being busy. The prices were on the higher side ($8 for a breakfast sandwich, $18 for a baker's dozen of bagels), but the quality and freshness of the product made it worth it in my opinion.

I am disappointed to say that I will no longer be a customer at this restaurant. We attempted to place an order twice through Uber Eats, but each time we received a notification that an item was unavailable, we were unable to select a replacement item. Despite calling the restaurant multiple times, we were unable to reach anyone, and both orders were eventually cancelled automatically.

I was charged for avocado and tomato on a bagel sandwich, but when I got home after a 30-minute drive, there was no avocado or tomato on the sandwich. They also used American cheese instead of the cheddar I had requested. I was very disappointed. This meal was definitely not worth the $13.

I ordered food from another state to be delivered to my son's office as a birthday surprise. The customer service was excellent! My son and his coworkers really enjoyed the bagels and cream cheese. The food was delicious and the order was handled perfectly.

The bagels are amazing, but the service is awful. It seems like I am bothering the staff every time I go.
