Been to Oakwood a couple times and had a good experience. We come as a group of 4 generally once a week for dinner after work. Tonight was absolutely horrible. After waiting 10 minutes we finally got our drink order. One of the four of us were served a second beer with two of us being ignored with empty glasses. 10 more minutes went by before she came back with a list of drafts to chose from as the original beer had run out. We then waited a further 10 minutes, and I decided to walk up to the bar and order them from the bartender which I stood for another 5 minutes to be looked at and completely ignored. My boyfriend and I were hoping to find a nice place to relax and enjoy some food and drinks, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. The food was just average; the shrimp and crab were fine, but the noodles were overcooked. My drink was really unpleasant – it tasted just like Sprite. I ended up spending $64, and I could have chosen a better place for that money. The pasta didn’t come with a side, just a plain, disappointing breadstick that tasted like raw dough. My boyfriend didn’t enjoy his meal either. We definitely won’t be returning.
This is one of the best places to eat in the Dearborn area. Looks like a bar from the outside, a more upscale one on the inside (lots of big screen tv's that actually work good), but the food is the bomb! Their half-pound ground rounds really are that: there's no shrinkage with these babies, so get ready to eat. Their full course dinners are extremely good and the atmosphere there is very welcoming too. Try this out when you are in the neighborhood.
First visit since Covid was today. The bartender moves at her own pace and makes it seem like it hurts to smile or show any kind of happiness. I feel like I inconvenienced her by coming in today. I've been to a lot of restaurants, and this one is by far the best I've ever experienced. The drinks are also quite strong. Sorry about the quality of the pictures; I was really hungry!

The food was good, and the service was excellent. I plan to return more often, but the prices for the burgers without fries are a bit too high.
