Oasis Uzbek Kebab House

Had a wonderful opportunity to visit Uzbekistan after it just emerged as a newly independent state of the USSR and enjoy Uzbek hospitality and their cuisine. Oasis Kebab house offered an authentic chance to briefly reminisce a happy time. The Samarkand Plov, a rice and melt in your mouth hunks of beef dish with lots of aromatics from onion and garlic complimented with generous julienned carrots and sultanas was prepared just like in Samarkand. We also tried the tandoor samsa, an empanada like savory baked puff pastry enclosing a generous amount of roughly chopped beef and onions was crunchy and delicious. The atmosphere at Oasis is amazing. The lighting, table settings, all create a very comfortable and welcoming environment. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a special occasion or simply a nice evening out. I never go out of my way to write reviews but this place is just one of the best I've ever been to.The service is top-notch. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They genuinely care about making sure you have a great dining experience. All the food is cooked to perfection, probably the best cooked meat and rice I have ever had!

Unbelievably good! An education and incredible food. Learning about the culture of Central Asia was incredible! Beautiful decor. Service was fast and our waitress taught us about the culture. The food there has some Asian and middle eastern influence, plus some Russian. There is something on the menu for everyone!

Don’t get me wrong the food was great! However personally we would not go back, it’s just a personal preference. We’re not natives to Uzbekistan. The restaurant however, had a strange scent to it, not sure if it was cultural or not, so no disrespect towards the locals, it’s not a place that we would frequent. Réservez une table maintenant

Must give this place a try!! First time having Uzbek food. I ordered shish Kabob(Lamb and beef), Kutabi and Shurpa and I was shocked how good the food was. Found a hidden gem! Will definitely be coming back! Per the employee, everything is halal

The kebabs were very well seasoned, tender and juicy. I'd like to dine there again and try other dishes. The ambience is appealing and the restaurant is very clean.

Delicious food. Plov is amazing. We ordered lamb and chicken shishkabab and they both were really juicy and delicious.Nice and clean restaurant.Excellent service.
