my friend and I were eating here on 27.11.16. she had ordered a rumpsteak (through) with cheese and I had a crust roast with semmelknödel and blue herb. There was also a festive soup and a tomato soup with basilikum. the tomaten soup was good but some pepp missed. the festive soup was very salty and thus to be rated maximum as ok. the main courts were inadequate. beechles instead of cheese and the rumpsteak was more medium than too sour by the salad, the crust roast was tasty ok but the fat had a very unpleasant taste although I would otherwise very much like to eat this also the blue herb was made from the glass and not prepared itself, moreover there was hardly soak for the semmelknödel, w...
This restaurant/hotel has been traded for hundreds of years and this history is reflected around you when you visit. Faces from black and white photos are staring at you from the last century and the century before. It is a traditional Bavarian environment. The building is simply wonderfully impressive as the service you receive, all supplied by employees in traditional Bavarian clothing. Food is high quality. Really delicious, traditional and beautiful presented. There is a good selection of local beers and the whole wraps you into a Bavarian reception. Very recommended that you check it. Probably the best food in town!
If you want an authentic experience, you cannot pass this place. The building itself is charming, old and well maintained. The restaurant is traditionally German and the food games. Service was great. The wine was average, but you're in the beer country, what else can you expect? There was a local singer who was very entertaining, even a little loud. The dance floor in the middle of the restaurant was always busy. If you are after a local German pub, you cannot beat this place for pure authenticity!
we were on the way through in pfronts and came by quite randomly. the guest rooms are pleasant and the panorama is simply great. eating was excellent, the ambiente with the dark wood was very cozy and also the service was very nice. the prices were also suitable taking into account the excellent quality. it was a great evening and at the next pass we will definitely stay here again. gruß aus hannover

restaurant with typical Bavarian furnishings and a very nice service. we were eating there several times and it was great every time! the portions are also more than sufficient and the daily changing dessert is a dream! this restaurant should not be left out in a visit to pfronten! but it must be reserved beforehand, as the restaurant is always well visited and full of staff.

we have waited a little longer for our food, but that I have ordered, because it has tasted very well, the staff was friendly and the general price-performance ratio was good. happy again!
Ein Rundum gelungener Abend...ohne Reservierung zum Glück noch ein Tisch bekommen. Sehr netter Service und super leckeres frisches Essen bei normalen Preisen. Jederzeit wieder...!!!
