we were eating here again after a long time after the restaurant had degraded significantly in recent years. we wanted to try it again. we should have left it! First of all, there were long waiting times. until at all an operation came to take up the drinks, half of it passed away, although not so much was going on. we had ordered 4 suppen, and all 4 suppen were only lukewarm; two of the soups had even formed an eclectic skin at the top. I'm sorry my main court didn't go. I had one of the most expensive dishes on the map: rumpsteak from the angusrind. Eating was okay. but simply too expensive service, well. somewhat messed up and slow. ordered eating, was written up but then misplaced. we are particularly happy to eat and also look for new restaurants, but we always take it back to günzburg, to the upper Riedwirtshaus.More than 10 years we already know it and like to eat the seasonal specialties, but also the classics are always worth a visit "loup de mer", small art of the house, schnitzel with late zle uvm.The restaurant is up and its value. we can only recommend it.
the deco and the device are a bit crassed. 70 " years tiffany lamps, a lot of krimskrams, a little too much overall. service motivated, rather at the upper limit. at the 5th time the question "feeches it" becomes also the patient gast porous. the food was handmade good, something underwrought. price - performance I find overall ok. satisfying yes, but too good is still missing.
we have not remained to eat, because the behaviour and the tone of the responsible service power to the colleague, our opinion, was undamaged and absolutely unworthy. in such an atmosphere we didn't feel comfortable! we will not support this behavior and have left it locally (before we ordered!)
eating was excellent as always. the rinderfilet ' café de paris ' is always first choice. but a waiting period of 45 minutes for drinks is unacceptable. several times apologise does not reduce the condition. the exit of the chef's service is probably not to be compensated. Too bad.
