Oberkirch - Réservation de table

This restaurant is located in a hotel in the big square. Great tourist location but it has a traditional menu which is great if you want to absorb the flavor of this lovely southern German town. The food is at little pricey but it's good buy. More attention to quality and detail than the beer places in town. The seafood is good here if you are tired of meats and sausages. The service is excellent. For a day trip from expensive Basel nearby, this was a good choice.

One of several restaurants on the picturesque Minster square, this looked good, and so it proved. It's a little pricier than average but worth it for the ambience, the shady parasols on a hot June day, and the super-efficient and friendly waitress. Good wine list. On market days you can enjoy the extra atmosphere - fruit and vegetable stalls, wine, beer, sausages, wooden handicrafts, oils, etc, without leaving your comfortable seat.

Stopped here after a long day sightseeing. Lovely ambience, extremely attentive service, with perfect English. The food was very good. Nice attention to detail with cotton napkins and selection of local breads etc. We both had dishes with chanterelles. Reasonable price for the quality. Would definitely visit again.

Excellent local food and a pretty good selection of wines. The service was efficient and very friendly. Even in winter the surroundings are very pleasant in this old building. I would imagine that sitting outside on the Munsterplatz in summer would be even better. Réservez une table maintenant

in the Muensterplatz, the centre of Freiburg with is magnificent cathedral this restaurant has a cosy traditional ambience and a very good service.The waitress is efficient and speaks italian. The food in excellent!

Spacious rooms, in perfect condition, with great location and helpful staff. But perhaps research when music events happen on the stage setup 100 feet from the hotel. Some nights the music went to 11pm.

Dined two separate evenings here: service was friendly and efficient, food was excellent, and the prices average. Ambience is first rate: completely cozy and inviting. Highly recommended.

Overpriced tourist trap. For 18.50 euro, I expected a lot more than just 4 white asparagus and 2 potatos with a side of hollandaise. Réservez une table maintenant

Very nice rustic german dishes. Lovely service and kind staff. Really nice south german ambiance and a warm decor.

Restaurant seemed quite dated, but the food was great. I was in a large group, and the service was quick.
