Ocean Master Fish And Chips Newport Beach

Friday night! No customers. I wanted healthy grilled fish, but they only have salmon or barra! Two fish my partner loathes Forced into battered food, I order a fish and chips and some calamari and prawn cutlets. A nice salad will balance it but but ooops, they don’t have any salad today. So the grill fish and salad and the burgers with coleslaw I guess are off the menu! Strange given Coles is next door! When ready I ask for take away knives and forks. Ooops, they only have forks! After a very awkward fork fighting meal at the beach, I give the food and service a 1 star. Sad, Newport doesn’t have a fish and chip shop near our beautiful beach that has some pride in running a good business.

Who sells a garden salad with only lettuce and piece of tomato in it for $12 almost all fish and chips shops do combos . Never will we go here again absolutely a rip off . Fish was lousy and so was the attitude of the lady on the front desk she must have had a bad day. Over 50$ for two people to have some fish n chips that was worth $20 max. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This place is a joke. They don’t do combos with chips and salad, so you’re expected to pay seperate for a garden salad which was $12. They ran out of grilled fish at 1pm, which meant having battered greasy fish. I would never return to this place. The quality of the food was so average too. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
