It's not easy for me to give out five stars, but on New Year's Eve, we've stumbled upon the best Asian food in town, and it definitely deserves a perfect score. We were busy, so I picked my wife up at 5:00 PM. We ordered chicken wings, grilled pork tenderloin, green beans, and shrimp in a creamy sweet sauce with walnuts (there was also broccoli). My wife arrived at the restaurant just in time to be greeted by a lovely lady who had our order ready. I thoroughly enjoyed everything during our wonderful New Year's dinner—it truly felt like a special occasion. Everything was done perfectly. We've tried all the Asian restaurants in the area, but this is the one we keep coming back to.
This restaurant offers classic American Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices. The family running the place is very friendly, and the food is solid, even if the menu is a bit predictable. The decor is simple, with a pleasant mix of Chinese and 80s smooth jazz music playing in the background. The wonton soup is exceptional and a steal at just $6. If you're feeding a hungry family, their dinner combination for 6 is a fantastic deal at $63. It's a great spot to dine in a somewhat limited area of West Linn.
This is one of my family's favorite restaurants every time we come, we order something different, and every single thing we've ordered has been delicious! We especially love the salt and pepper shrimp. The wait staff are really friendly and the restaurant is very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend Ocean Sky as your new favorite Chinese restaurant!
