Our drink order was incorrect twice. Once is a problem; twice is unconscionable in a fine restaurant. The drink order was handed off to helpers twice and they were clearly not well-trained. In addition, it took more than 30 minutes for the two of us to get the correct drinks. My husband loved his mushroom ravoli; my trout was well prepared and was to have a mushroom sauce but there was very little of it. As a result, it was dry. The overall experience was a disappointment. We love seafood restaurants and had planned to return for brunch the next day with friends. We went elsewhere.
Our dinner was a great experience. The menu is wonderful and the prices are very favorable for the quality of the food. Our service was outstanding. Each of the three servers we encountered were very friendly and attentive. Truly one of the most enjoyable evenings, bar none. We will definitely be returning in the near future.
We had a wonderful evening here. Perfect location with the Clayton Art Fair going on all around us. The restaurant was busy but our server Avery did a good job for us. Our food was delicious! Oceano has been around a long time and it’s always good!
We had good service even with arriving at a busy time. The crab cake was delicious, as usual. We ordered the swordfish special, which was prepared well as the fish was tender, but disappointing as the dish overall was bland.
