The place was worth the visit. We talked about trying it since it opened. The menu is relatively simple, but we are prepared. Portions were well and beautifully presented. Margarita was good, not exaggerated on Tequila. The chocolate filled churros are a good way to finish your meal. Prices are reasonable and if you are in Warrensburg, Johnsburg, Chestertown area, it's nice that you don't have to go to Lake George to pay Mexican food (and pay for it). The waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.
I love it! I had a veggie enchilada and it had fresh Zuchini and squash, which is always a victory for me. The Adobo sauce in the Enchilada was fantastic. The shrimp taco salad was tasteful with many ingredients. My other friend got the Taco de Pollo she said reminded her Mexican heritage, although she is not from Mexico! Large portion sizes Very recommended.
Had a great time in Ocho Cinco. This place is a real jewel in the mountains. Our server was excellent and the food was really nice. They could give us seamlessly gluten-free for some and milk free for others. We all really enjoyed the dishes and unique sauces. Definitely recommend this place if you are nearby.
Best Margherita I have had in the Adirondack! So good. My family and I really enjoyed the taco deal. Price is awesome and they were willing to serve us 45 min to close without any issues plus they said they would have even if it were 10mins to close. Very family friendly.
