"Thought it is now called Kansas Smitty. Super bar with an awesome jazz club downstairs. This may be a little corner of London where Trip Advisor needs to be more update. Unsure about the exact names. But 63 65 Broadway Market is the right place."

Nice drinks menu, although the bar is a little too cramped and understaffed. Waited about 20 minutes to be served as the staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing and took ages making cocktails. The prices are reflective of a swanky West End cocktail bar, made by experienced and impressive mixologists but in reality this is a shabby chic local pub, staffed by amateur barhands who didn't know the recipe for a simple whiskey sour. Ordered 2 drinks at £9.50 each, which took almost 10 minutes to make and were ultimately very poor.

I've been here a few times now. What's frustrating is how dependent it is on who serves you. When there's someone good, this is without a doubt the best cocktail bar in London — it is pricey but not over-priced when they get it right. Then the next week you'll see a different barman reading instructions they've just googled and your drink will reflect that. This could be a 5-star bar if they were a bit more consistent in weeding out who they employed.

This road is a foodie paradise and one of the highlights of East London’s regeneration. It’s a small venue with only a few beers, including a cloudy, dodgy IPA. The staff do, however, make some excellent cocktails and the Kansas Smitty band rock the equally-small jazz venue below. Definitely worth a visit.

There are many stalls offering clothing, souvenirs, and most importantly, food at this restaurant. Additionally, there are two charming pubs and even a barber for both men and women. My wife and I frequently visit this place, which we believe has the best barber in Hackney.
