It's more expensive now but that's understandable because of what's going on with our economy. But if you were to indulge oncein a while, order their Miso Bass. It's worth every dollar. This restaurant does not accept reservations. Dinner service begins at 5 pm, and by 5:05 pm, the place is already packed. The interior looks just the same as it did when we visited over 15 years ago. We ordered the sushi boa, which comes with soup, salad, rice, sashimi, various types of sushi, teriyaki salmon, assorted tempura, and dessert/ice cream. We also tried the fried chicken and shishito tempura. The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. It's no surprise that the place is full just five minutes after opening.

This is a very popular sushi restaurant. We went on a Saturday for dinner, and the wait was about 40 minutes. The restaurant was very crowded, very small dining room. The food is very good. I don't eat fish, but I like the other Japanese dishes, so I had an udon bowl of soup. It had a fishy smell, but it was quite good.

I don't really know of any Japanese restaurants in the Bay Area that serves Salmon skin salad. It is super delish.
Best and authentic Japanese sushi in town. You won?t regret if you want something more than a California roll.
