looking for a vegan option in Halle/Saale, I have become happy with the ecoase in the pubic quarter "small ulrichstraße". ökoase is not a bad name and also so striking as this place unfortunately represents one of the very few vegetarian-vegan possibilities in halle. actually sadly measured at the potential of this old cultural city. when entering the business, a very unpleasant odour came into my nose - probably kitchen or dishwasher cleaner. a little bit of a bit of a bit. there has to be something definitiw, it is inconceivable that I had to re-emphasize it, because in an earlier review of another customer here in the timeline this has already been noted. the bistro is from the ambiente her so la, definitiw something ymca, Protestant youth hostel or also child daycare facility (due to the visitorship exclusively from young families on this Saturday morning). good but the equipment with reading material (time, books), that is over standard. so authentic in the sea of the other large-scale Veggie lifestyle temple, as you know from other big cities. it is ordered at the theke, and there we are at the next thema: the lady who had served me was anything but friendly. Maybe she had a bad morning... but I can't stop being a man, especially since I'm a friendly and relaxed one. second minus point after the smell! No matter: the card hangs left beside the theke, you have to look three times what there are and how the options are (vegetarian, vegan, conventional cultivation or biodynamic), but a thick lob for the kenn drawing, top! the offer is relatiw narrow and more vegetarian, which is correct, because the bistro is out. as a vegan I had at least two options, in order to all coffee lovers: please don't drink coffee there. an unmotivated fully automatic gives you a passionate broth. third minus point! who appreciates the seven-member from the Italian or also a fresh filter coffee is wrong here. I had ordered a soy-cabin, and there we are with another thema: the dame has put the milk hose from the cow's milk carton simply into the soy milk carton - and off for that! fourth minus point!I have ordered two tofu-spring rolls with a delicious sauce, rich with a minisalt and a slice of brot (they need it not) eating was perfect, Bistro level just, after all nobody has claimed and claimed that this is a restaurant.Maybe it is due to the low demand in hall that the ecoase can operate her business so passionately? without proper competition, one remains the only one, and as a monopoly provider one can also get a little more relaxed. not professional, but then something happens. but I will not go there in a definite way.

we were here spontaneously on a afternoon to eat something vegetarian. it was relatiw empty, which was probably due to the fact that it was just before the load was closed. because we had self service, we ordered at the theke. of the many different hint boards, what there is to eat, we were very overwhelmed and the service power at the theke could not help us. they referred to, despite asking, always only on the boards. so we ordered something we first discovered: a day soup and a salad.The day soup was quite okay, but nothing special, it tasted not bad, but also not really good. the suppe was definitely not. the Italian salate didn't taste really good, he was drowned in oildressing. the salat can also not have been fresh, because I later suffered from digestive problems.It was very common in the bistro, at least it looked cozy, but one sat down, it was no longer so comfortable. in addition, it smelled, especially in the entrance area and at the theke, very unpleasant according to gastronomy spinning machine. We didn't taste it, we don't come back.

Had a good lunch at Okoase. Welcoming restaurant with a clean and pleasant atmosphere. Staff didn't speak much English but it didn't matter, we ordered without difficulty. Wide choice of hot and cold veggie meals with options for portion sizes. Our party had a mix of salads and bean burgers and all were fresh and delicious. Drinks were fruity and refreshing. Coffee and cakes good too. Great to have a quality veggie alternative at lunchtime in Halle. Children welcome. Nice outdoor seating area when weather allows. Closes at 4pm so it is a breakfast and lunch spot only.

you expect to eat ecologically consciously but will be disappointed. seldom what is appropriate. in small print is that conventional products are used, except it is explicitly stated. in the current map was not a bio dish.Essen is nicely dressed but tastefully disappointing. da bistro and self-service it is correspondingly loud.

I asked for a day menu and it was like a kartoffellasagne, a bit gurke and an aromatic ... it was delicious, yes, but the truth is that it seemed scarce for everything it cost me. I was not very satisfied.
