Old Bake House Tavern

After two previous visits to the Old Bakehouse Tavern when I had less than satisfactory, tough steaks, I was dubious about returning. However, this time I had the squid and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. However, we were a group of four and everyone complained about how cold the room was which detracted significantly from our experience. If my friends did not like dining here I would not return - but it now seems to be an annual occurrence for us.

We're been going here for a few years. The food is always spot on and great value for money. Staff always lovely and eager to please. Only a small restaurant but doesn't stop them from putting out wonderful food. Will be definitely going back.

A lovely little Tavern this one is located on Payneham RoadI've been here a few times to take advantage of a savvy night out on a weeknight.

A quick meal after a busy day!! Such a quiet night at the tavern tonight - only 3 tables of diners at6,30 when I was there.
