Old Bell Pub - Réservation de table

Although I live in walking distance of this pub I have never been in as I tend to eat out in the town centre. I had friends staying and we decided to stay local and chose The Old Bell. I’m so glad we did! We opted for the fish and chips.. and all really enjoyed the meal, simple, well cooked and really good quality fish. The atmosphere was very upbeat, and everyone from the waiting staff to the bar staff made us feel so welcome! Thank you guys for a lovely evening, I will definitely be back x

Bearing everything in mind it would not be fair not to give 5*. For the price the room was adequate, clean and big enough. At £50 what more do you need? First impressions were not great as outside needs a coat of paint but improves as stepping inside. Location ok and cost £7 taxi into centre theatre. Full English at 6.25 was reasonable and every staff member we encountered were friendly and welcoming. I would stop again, bear in mind it’s not a 5* hotel but was great value for money

Came here Good Friday evening, busy but still managed to snag a table, had quite a few prosecco's and my boyfriend was loving the cask ale. Amazing new Hobgoblin glasses too! Fab atmosphere, management and staff, and affordable unlike a lot of the pubs in the local area

We stayed in the family and single rooms. Comfortable and clean. Full English breakfast with vegetarian option was very nice and filling! Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back. Réservez une table maintenant

Great friendly pub full of locals, food was delicious and had an excellent choice of drinks. Pool table and darts board are a new addition since last visiting which seemed very popular.

the food was amazing and so lovely! the staff are super friendly and are always there to help with anything, it was an amazing experience and i would go here all the time 100% recommend
