Very hospitable, spoke to the young lady who took my order and had informed me about the phone before my visit, what was available, prices and so on. I am from NC and lived there a majority of my life. With the best BBQ manufacturers in the world and with a name like Old Carolina, I expected at least something comparable. It was spectacular, the smell in the air of the restaurant was an amazing addition to the atmosphere of the facility and the friendly demeanor of the staff really helped. On food, I ordered for $14 a two meat plate that I baked beans, Mac's cheese, and they give a side of corn bread. The meat was pulled pork. We ordered plates of ribs, chicken wings, beans, hush puppies and fönfries. Everything was just as it should be, excellent BBQ. I ordered the counter and they put this order together in about 10 minutes, no problem. I was glad they were as efficient as I was in the city of BBQ Fairlawn and they were ribbed at 5:00. It made no difference that I placed this order well in advance. That left me in a bad place because I'm buying food for a little party. Strange. Old Carolina deserves my repeat business. They saved the day.
You looked after our Grandson's first birthday party and we were very happy that we had chosen Old Carolina. Everyone at the party thought the food was great! My son-in-law even made a trip to get containers for our guests, because there was a lot of food. We ordered the shredded pig, chicken, Hushpuppies, Cornbread and Coleslaw. The order came with a variety of sauces and rolls. My family will use them again and we will recommend them to our friends!
First time ordering from Old Carolina BBQ and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the bbq ribs tasted and how tender the pulled pork was. The corn muffins melted in my mouth and the green beans were out of this world. Absolutely amazing!! Y’all know how to do top-notch bbq. Will definitely be ordering again!!
