We had a great experience at Ebbitt Grill during our first visit to DC. The food was delicious and the decor was beautiful, just as it had been highly recommended. Because I'm an artist, I especially loved the original paintings they displayed throughout the restaurant.

Excellent food and service just a couple of blocks from then White House. Steak salad and clam chowder were excellent. Kurt our waiter was very friendly and provided great suggestions.
