I arrived early, so the wait was minimal. The staff greeted me warmly, and they were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely, creating a beautiful setting. The food was outstanding and skillfully prepared. My favorite dish was the chicken and waffles; the chicken was perfectly crispy and seasoned just the way I like it, and I couldn't resist trying it with hot sauce, which I adore. The French toast paired wonderfully with the meal, and the mac and cheese on the side was delicious. I also took a chance on the fried salmon bites, which were fantastic—the sauce was on another level of flavor. The fried deviled eggs are a must-try, bursting with taste...
On the downside, the grain bread was a bit tough, like it had been sitting out for a day. Our server was knowledgeable but seemed to be in a hurry, making it necessary for us to flag them down if we needed anything or had questions about our orders. Despite this, I highly recommend the place. I've heard wonderful things about it, and it definitely lived up to the hype!
Food was delicious, we ordered the fried fish that came with sides. Then we added a fresh side salad and some wings. We decided to go to a drink while we wait. There's a bartender, but they don't have a full bar. If you want Bourbon, try the Four Roses . Vibes where cold, service felt inattentive.
