Old Loans Inn - Réservation de table

I took my sister-in-law out for her birthday using an Itison voucher for dinner, bed, and breakfast. The food at lunch, dinner, and breakfast was fantastic, with fresh and generous portions. The staff were friendly and efficient, and I can't wait to return. Hopefully next time we can visit on a weekend when it might be a bit busier. We also visited Gailles Hotel for the thermal suite, which was also 5-star. Thank you, and I am looking forward to coming back again.

Following an email inviting us to sign up for a loyalty card and receive 40% in January. This was misleading as it didn't show any restrictions and there were several. It also looked as if there was a misunderstanding with the staff's knowledge of the deal. This was not so much the fault of the restaurant but the administration. However, we enjoyed the food and the service was good. We have become regular customers and that should speak for itself.

My parents love this place when they come to visit, especially because they are vegetarian and there are always great menu options for them. We had a wonderful meal last Sunday and everyone enjoyed their food. I tried the chicken and haggis wellington and it was fantastic, while the veggies had vegetable crepes and halloumi burgers. The wine list had good options at reasonable prices. The service was also prompt and attentive.

Xmas lunch, for £78 a head exected better quality and service. Really felt like a conveyor belt of food that had been sitting, not hot enough, not cooked enough and uninspiring. We were rushed through our meal in under 2 hours to have our order taken, eat 4 courses an with no place to sit and have coffee/drink afterwards. First experience here and wont be back. Omg, the food in the old loans inn is so beautiful and delicious. Honestly the presentation, taste, portion was perfect. The server Lisa, was so lovely. She was so warm, welcoming, polite, and patience, we couldnt make our minds up too many delicious food to decide. I recommend everyone to dine in this restaurant and believe me there will be no disappointments

I went to this restaurant for dinner two nights ago. The food was amazing. I started with Cullen Skink, which was outstanding. The portion size made it difficult to finish my main course, which was also delicious. Although the prices on the menu were a bit high, the quality of the food and the service made for a very enjoyable dining experience.

A lovely stay over at the Loans staff very helpful a special mention to Amy who was outstandingly pleasant and always smiling. Also the lady who I'm sorry never got her name who managed the front desk who went out of her way to ensure we were happy with our stay

Excellent food on special lunch menu prawn cocktail and Cullen skink for starters followed by Cajun chicken crepes. Staff were very attentive, especially Kacey who went beyond the call to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed to enjoy our food Réservez une table maintenant

Swift, friendly service from all staff members. Lovely warming food on a cold, windy evening. Our server was Kacey and she made our visit special.

Met up here with my cousins who live locally during a break to Scotland. Lovely friendly family run business made very welcome.
