I had a meal at the Prince of Orange a few years ago and vowed I would never return. However, a family member informed me that it is now under new ownership and has been revamped. My partner and I visited yesterday and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely decor and the friendly, warm welcome we received from the staff. We started with chilli beef and tempura prawn starters and both had fish and chips for the main course, which came with fresh homemade tartare sauce and mushy peas. The quality of the food and service was excellent and the value for money was great. We will definitely recommend this pub/restaurant to our family and friends and will definitely return again sometime soon.
Came across this pub by accident...was staying in a nearby hotel and wandered in for evening meal...lovely atmosphere, big comfy leather sofas. Staff are very friendly and the food was superb, I had the burger and chips and it was excellent I couldn't fault it. I think the pub specialises in pizza as everyone else seemed to be having them and they looked really good.
This is one of the friendliest pubs I have ever visited. The owners are really accommodating. There is service with a smile and you are made to feel like a local straight away. We didn't sample the food, but if its anything like the general service, you can't go wrong.
A real family,friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Had a lovely roast there today. Huge portions at a really reasonable price, the sticky toffee pudding was LUSH!. The staff are super friendly. Don't live locally to the Prince of Orange but will definitely be back.

We used this place for a funeral wake for my father-in-law so this isn't the usual review for a pub!! However we were very pleased with the food provided and the friendly staff that made a difficult day more bearable. Thanks Prince of Orange for your great service.
New management. Much nicer in here now. Sunday roast is the best you’ll get anywhere. Everything made from scratch. Gravy amazing. Roast potatoes amazing, beef perfectly cooked. Roast chicken like I’ve never had before encrusted with flavour. 10/10.
Had a really nice Sunday roast here. They cater for vegetarian and vegan diets. Reasonable price. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Only 2 small comments, the kale was very salty and the live music was very loud.
