Passing through Revelstoke on the way in or out? Next time plan to stay a bit longer and maybe plan a couple meals here! There's history in these walls and you can read about it when you get to class. Well, the classroom has been converted into a diner but it looks like anything but your typical burger joint. Don't drive past this place (it's easy to miss since they can't change the external facade of the building for historical reasons). It's in a school zone so you shouldn't be driving fast anyway. Speaking of schools, it's literally inside an old school. The staff are friendly and the food is presented with care. It's off the beaten path, but worth the excursion. I can't wait to come back...
One star for the good service from our UK waitress and one star for the Caesar salad. Not an intimate place rather a brew pub feeling is what you get. The large manager woman was rude and obnoxious. The bison I ordered must have died of old age as it was the toughest piece of meat I have ever been served. Would not recommend this place.
Loved it! Fun theme, great servers, excellent food and entertaining bartender. We sat at the bar. Enjoyed a few professionally mixed cocktails, bao buns, Thai curry Laksa. An old school building transformed into a dining hall. Very fun. Definitely will return next time I'm here.
