Old Siam - Réservation de table

We booked this restaurant for our Wedding Anniversary dinner after reading the complementary reviews. Having sat down we ordered drinks and perused the menu and surprised that they didn’t offer a set menu, which is first for me eating in a Thai restaurant, not that we would of ordered it but it would have been nice to have the choice. We went for the mixed platter starter for 2, Chicken pad Thai, crispy chilli beef, prawn Pad king and Thai fragrant rice for mains. The mixed platter for 2 was delicious although clearing the plates away whilst I was still eating my last mouthful was inappropriate. The restaurant is extremely clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a wide variety of options available. We decided to start with the mixed starters, which were delicious. The Massauman curry was a standout for our main dish, and the noodle dish with beef and vegetables had the perfect texture. The food was very tasty overall.

We’re been to Old Siam quite a lot, on our own or with friends and family. I have to say this is probably our favourite restaurant. The food is delicious and always serviced hot and very quickly. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend and we will certainly go back many more times

Returned to Hertford just to visit this restaurant, where we hadn't been since before the Covid pandemic. It was just as good as ever. The menu has a huge selection and the food is beautifully cooked and presented. Prices are very reasonable. Service is prompt, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended! We had an authentic Thai dinner at this restaurant! We received a warm welcome and were seated in a cozy corner at the back, which made us feel right at home. The food was incredibly delicious and also very affordable. The service was impeccable. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Friday night, 8pm and full. Noisy and atmospheric. Prime spot in the town centre. Friendly and efficient staff, immediately seated and given a beer...perfect! Food was tasty and hot, timing of courses was good, always nice service. Reasonable price. All in all a very good evening.

Beautiful Thai food, lovely atmosphere and very friendly and welcoming staff. Restaurant is very authentic and food is stunning. Great location with lots of bars dotted nearby for a drink before or after visiting. Lovely for a date night or special occasion. Highly recommend!

A very popular restaurant so booking is essential. Food is well presented and interesting. Staff are helpful but it does get very busy and is quite large. Would definitely go again.
