Die frühere Rockerkneipe hat wieder "IN" Charakter, vor allem an den Abenden, wenn eine Band spielt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und hausgemacht, allerdings muss man 2 Stunden Wartezeit einkalkulieren, also nichts für hungrige Mäuler. Ein Besuch dieser Kneipe/ Restaurant ist es allerdings schon aufgrund des Charakters auf jeden Fall wert.
A small pub with a big program. Live Music and Open Stage. The selection of drinks is large and the prices are low. There is also a lot to eat. It is very clean and well maintained here, also the toilets. The staff is very friendly and attentive. To park, I recommend the parking deck at the cemetery. From there it's only 2 minutes walk.
The host is Herbert, the atmosphere is original, the audience is colorful when there is live music it is great. Oh, yeah, Fred's Schlemmereck in St. Pauli is already a dream... Fred's Schlemmereck is no longer. But far from St. Pauli there is a pub with all the charm of the legendary Kiezkneipe. Welcome to Old Smuggler!
