Service was extremely slow and with no particular care. We ordered the half Peking duck. The pancake dish was average with a duck poorly cooked and the sauce overly sweet. They give you 6 pancakes and if you want an extra 6 you have to pay an extra $6(just for the pancakes, no extra ingredients or duck are provided...$1 per 10sqm of pancake...). The second dish that we ordered was supposed to be rice crackers with the meat. It took forever to arrive and the they served 2 pieces of Sanchoybau instead. When we asked them about the change they simply said, customers don't like the rice crackers so we decided to change the dish.... apart from the not requested change the ridiculous thing was the...

Three friends went for lunch and they put us on a table that seated 10 or 12 when we asked for a smaller table no problem as soon as one was available they would move us . But I'm sure they forgot we were there nobody came near us . So we. Couldn't order a drink . Lots of staff but all busy doing other tables . They did arrive and moved us to a smaller table ok we ordered and yes the meals arrived all bar one . We had to ask three different staff what happened to it all said it was coming two of us finished our meals and after asking again the third persons meal arrived ......Food was tasty BUT staff didn't know what they were doing even an older lady seemed confused ... So would we go back...

We were initially encouraged by the number of people in this restaurant and the beautiful looking meat hanging over the counter. The Peking duck when it arrived however was just a roast duck, not an authentic Peking duck. They used over sweet hoisin sauce instead of nicer saltier bean sauce. The pancakes were soggy. The san choi bao was very bland and under seasoned. The Chinese broccoli was served in a puddle of water. The service wasn't friendly or attentive. They also add 2% for credit cards, which at the prices they charge is a bit much. Something you might forgive at the budget end of the spectrum. Disappointed with the experience.

We haven't thought of Barangaroo as a place to find a good Chinese Restaurant before so last Saturday was a nice surprise. The food style is Hong Kong and we are not really familiar with this either! All said we had a really pleasant meal. Decor is basic, a bit crowded but buzzy. The staff were very pleasant and the service was quick considering the full house. Menu is interesting with lots of noodles but also some new dishes (to us). Price is not basement but we thought it represented good value for money. This end of town is an interesting one and will only get busier with time. Certainly we'll be back. Réservez une table maintenant

Welll back we went for dinner after our last disaster last time and must say wow tonight it was great .we started off with steamed duck meat dumplings ....yum then steamed Scallop Dumplings ...so tasty .next we ordered Half Duck which came with6 pancakes and a great sauce ....we waited for the extra chopped Duck and rice cakes ,,,this dish didn't arrive until I asked after two more dishes they then bought it out .i think if I didn't ask it would not have arrived ........But must say this aside the meal was good and service not bad ...so do try .

The seafood dumplings were very yummy, however i was confused with one of my mains. At first it was more on the succlulent side, also warm. 3 attempts later, microwave style it was more warmer in temp, also the taste was different. Bit on the confused side. Gees do i sound like a masterchef. Haha gees the word texture is so overthrown. Back in the day u had dinner and were so grateful. Now TEXTURE has become the full force. PLEASE, SIDETRACKED. these reviews are more for myself, u may want to read another one. Funny

Went here for dinner after work. A little confusing to find the door to get in and no one really greets you properly which set the tone. The food is excellent. Chilli beef and duck san choi bow is very good. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. Very hard to get anyone's attention to order food , order drinks , get the bill etc . A fruit platter at the end is a nice suprise. For the price point i expect a little more.

Stumbled on this while viewing lights at Vivid. Not on the waterfront, one street back. We had a short wait for seating. The food was exceptional, crispy skin chicken, chilli prawn stir fry. 5 dishes in total. Wait staff made suggestions on meals which was very helpful. Service was excellent and reasonably priced. Will go back again. Réservez une table maintenant
