Wow, I’m truly impressed! This was my first experience with a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwich topped with salt, pepper, and ketchup, and it felt like a spiritual encounter. Every bite brought me to the brink of tears from pure happiness. The staff was incredibly friendly too; they complimented my shirt, which really brightened my day. They also sold Yoo-hoo, a drink I hadn’t had in about a year since my last trip to 7-11. You have to visit this place and support them with all your heart!
Order 4 different 4ft sandwiches. 4 pounds of cookies, salad, macaroni salad and potato salad. The food was for a VERY large party. All the sandwiches were amazing. I had to try each one, the bread was off the hook. The macaroni salad was one of the best I have ever had. Now the service. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the people and service. The food was ready when they said it would be and very helpful! Next time I will eat in the restaurant, and I am sure it will be amazing.
I've been visiting this place for several decades now! You can't go wrong with the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwich—it's been voted the best in New Jersey for a reason. They also offer excellent old-school sub sandwiches. The shop opens at 5:30 AM, which is great for commuters, and it's conveniently located right across the street from the train station.
For over 30 years, this restaurant has been a cornerstone of the local culinary scene. One of the last remaining gems, it’s known as The Deli. I noticed someone mentioned that Olde Towne got an order wrong with grits—were they even in New Jersey? (laughs) I always come back for their amazing THEC Sandwich in the morning! Found this place online when looking for a lunch stop on drive from Cape Cod to NC and it didn’t disappoint. Friendly staff and great food. Bread was fresh and meats were excellent. I will definitely stop here again when I can.
You can't find better prices than those at Olde Towne Deli. It's truly remarkable. The quality of the food for the price is also quite impressive. I highly recommend trying their signature Taylor Ham Egg and Cheese!
They definitely have a great taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich. But definitely you have to request that they kill the taylor ham. What I mean about that is well done. Nobody like eating it raw.
