Ole - Réservation de table

Last weekend my BF and I decided we wanted to try a local Portuguese restaurant. I had seen excellent reviews for Ole on Horse Block Road in Farmingville so that is where we went. We were blown away. What an amazing gem turned out to be. On the table, to start, they put some delicious bread and a plate full of yummy garlicky olives. For our entrées my BF got Lagosta con Champagne, which was described as lobster cooked in a casserole with shrimp, scallops and clams. I ordered Paelha Marinheira which was lobster clams, scallops, shrimp, mussels, and rice also in a casserole pot. To start, we were served olives, followed by a basket of bread with butter. I’m usually not a fan of olives, but these were deliciously flavorful—some of the best I’ve ever tasted. For dinner, I ordered the Mariscada com Molho Verde (seafood in green sauce) without really knowing what to expect. Taking a leap of faith definitely paid off! It was one of the best seafood dishes I’ve ever had, featuring shrimp, mussels, scallops, and half a lobster, all served in a large cast-iron casserole dish bathed in a flavorful green sauce. The Portuguese cuisine was truly exceptional. I enjoyed the leftovers for two days because everything was delicious. The wait staff were friendly, attentive, and professional—they could easily work in a big city and fit right in. I'm definitely planning to return and become a regular customer. This is a wonderfully cozy family restaurant. The food is fresh, and the service is quick. The staff is friendly, and the entire place is clean and charming. I had dinner here, and it was a delightful experience!
