After leaving sant joan les fonts we headed for Besalú. our intention was to find somewhere to eat either on the way or in the same locality of Besalú. and we were lucky to stop at the repsol service station (pk. 64 of the N-260) when we entered the west of besalú, as the manager strongly recommended the olive restaurant at first we had our doubts, because the indotrial polygon in which we met (and in which the restaurant mentioned) was not frequented that day (it was Saturday). But the hunger squeezed and in the end we decided to try luck. and the truth is that our surprise was capital, as we hope to know the typical bar-restaurant of the indotrial polygon. and, although we have nothing aga...
Este buffet está muy bien. En Besalú hay dos bufés libres. Ambos son muy correctos pero éste en mi opinión destaca por encima del otro. Tienen un problema de espacio disponible para presentar la comida pero esto no lo desmerece en ningún caso. Por lo general el postre de los bufetes todos tienen el mismo problema con la nata que además de ser de poca calidad no la tienen en un lugar frío. Es una pena que no mejoren ese aspecto. Les recomiendo ambos. Si sólo se quedará con uno, mejor que pruebe éste.
Greeted at reception in a polite and informative manner. This restaurant with its 15 euro buffet including drinks is clearly popular with locals. It was soon obvious why it’s popular. Wonderful range of a wide variety of interesting dishes. I really enjoyed it thought the food should have been hotter. Great value and spotlessly clean restaurant. Sadly the bin in the toilet needed to be emptied and there was a lot of tissue on the floor However overall an enjoyable experience.
I know this area very well and this is one of my favourite places to eat. About 12.50 EUR for a 3 course buffet Inc wine and water, and good quality Catalan food. It's about a 10 Min walk out of the old town, but well worth. Don't expect a menu in anything other than Catalan, just ask for your table, pay, and eat. Other drinks except wine and water you pay for at the bar.
It was the fault of my friends, carme and ripoll ont. We have been responsible for this establishment today and now. summary of the experience; beautiful, good atmosphere, exquisite service, first meal, very affordable prices. highly recommended and appetizing. I'm out of my grades.
