"A cabin right on the waterfront specialising in mussels but has other compatible dishes. Definitely ' Dining Al Fresco', however with great atmosphere and very good value for money!"

We have visited this resturant every summer since it first opened , with a break last year . In July 2013 , we went with a group of friends (14) we were served one and a half hours later , with no excuses offered the mussels were fine . Two weeks later we went back (3) we took the mussels of the day with garlic cream very poor . The lady who works there is not very welcoming limit aggressive . What a difference from when it first opened , we will not be going back in the near future .

This is an order at the counter restaurant café with paper plates and plastic cutlery but it is the nicest good value meal that we have had for a long time. 35 Euros for a portion of crudites to share, really nice, 2 moules et frites which were superb, 2 nice desserts and 2 glasses of wine. Alongside the marina overlooking the boats. If you are in Rochefort, go there but do expect a café more than a posh restaurant. We will be back.

Arrived on a midday high tide. Moored up and went strait for lunch. English spoken. Specials included Moules with tarragon and Octopus in the Galician style (previously eaten in the land of the Basque).Good service even though they were very busy. Basic outdoor tables. Frites were good as we're the cider and wine. If you are on a yacht the obvious pace for lunch. Excellent.

This is a very basic place. A hut on the side of the marina. It is a serve yourself and clear-up yourself with most of the table out in the open. However they serve some of the best moules frite we have ever had. There is always a variety of different styles and they are cooked while you wait so are always fresh. It is very popular, and it is usually necessary to book.
