Olove Greek Kitchen

I visited this restaurant for the first time with some friends from my mom group, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was! The octopus was incredibly tender, and the beet and dill salad was surprisingly tasty—I never expected that combination to work so well! The roasted lamb was cooked to perfection too. We ordered a trio of dips to sample the various types of hummus, and they were all fantastic. The pita was cooked just right! I regretted not ordering more food. The staff was incredibly friendly as well. As for parking, there’s plenty of free street parking available west of the restaurant!

As a first-time visitor, I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food was—definitely exceeded my expectations! I especially liked the standard options of chips (fries) and risotto; I haven't seen that offered at other Greek restaurants, which usually serve the typical sides of potatoes, salad, and rice. The staff, possibly the owner, came across as a bit intimidating when we were particular about which table to choose upon arrival. However, my overall experience was very positive. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

We dined there yesterday, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was incredible—so fresh and delicious! It's definitely the best traditional Greek cuisine I've had in the lower mainland. We're already looking forward to going back! The owner and staff were wonderful, and Sheri took great care of us—she was amazing! We ordered two appetizers, one main dish, a bottle of wine, and a dessert to share, and we left feeling happy and very satisfied! All of that for just $115. Such great value!

The food at this restaurant was incredible, with each dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. We sampled three different dips, and each one was fantastic in its own unique way. The service was exceptional as well. I had made a reservation for a Saturday night around 7 PM, but there were still a few tables open by that time. The food and service were exceptional! My favorite dish was the fig dip, which was simply delicious! The warm pita bread paired perfectly with the dips and was delightful on its own as well. The spinach risotto was cooked to perfection—rich and hearty, with every bite feeling heavenly. The lamb chops were seasoned wonderfully and incredibly tender.

The food was decent, but nothing extraordinary. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired; the staff wasn't very friendly or welcoming. I prefer more traditional Greek cuisine. It might be a better fit if you’re dining casually with friends and sharing plates.
