Oma's Pizza And Italian

We were looking for a pizza shop that makes gluten free pizza. I called first and asked and they said yes! You have a great Gf Pizza! A 12? round personal size. I was hoping to have a good pizza and we went to dinner. Gluten-free for 11 years and the fight for gf food during the trip is real! We went in and were greeted with all the smiles. The server told us to choose any seat we want. The inside of the restaurant is what you would expect. A Italian-style restaurant. About 15 stand-style tables. Our server was super friendly and very knowledgeable about gluten-free menu items including salad dressings! My husband ordered a middle pizza 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 sausage. Stopped in to eat at Oma 's. I was looking forward to trying their New York style pizza. It was short lived. A kind gentleman told us to have a seat wherever we wanted. After 15 minutes nobody waited on us. One waitress came to the table next to us to help them. She looked at us and walked away. Some other folks were seated by a waitress. At this point we all decided the red flags were up. We all agreed we better leave. If your charging premium prices you should deliver premium service. We got up and walked out, passing waitresses. That was the only place where I could see the island was opened before 9:00. It was always very busy, so I thought it was good. We have placed an order by phone and only get a cheese pizza and bread garlic bread. Like typical Italians, this place was great. Your dough is wonderful and delicious. The pizza was great even though it was just a simple cheese pizza. It was also great the next day reheated. We haven't eaten and it seems they have quite limited seating in the restaurant, but take was great and I would eat here again. As at the price, it was a little high for pizza, but this is on the island and near where we stayed.

Not worth the price!!! They have not published any prices on their website. $35 for a SMALL pizza and SMALL salad and that's how they look?. I could make the salad from sandwich supplies I had and the pizza was not melted together. I should go down the street to eat and get a meal in a real restaurant for the same price. The boss also says it comes with onions and cucumbers and my salad doesn't realize that?

Lunch. Pizza was really good. Beer was cold. Service was friendly and fast. Decor is a little dusty, but we were there for the food we were happy. Would come back!
