Wow! What an experience! This has become a “must attend” dining experience on the GC. In an area overloaded with fads and lofty dining experiences this made other restaurants look and feel pedestrian. The view… ocean level Burleigh looking back toward Surfers Paradise, and even just people watching as the swimmers and surfers go about their day, their relaxation is contagious. The wine and beverage menu is spot on. They have drinks for everyone and they are well selected including non alcoholic beverages for our table’s drivers. The service was exceptional, from being greeted to farewell. Always courteous, always polite, we battled to hear them through the masks, but this is not their fault....
Went up North just for a quick weekend trip. Saw that Rick Shores looked nice and had good atmosphere so just walked in for lunch. The host was extremely welcoming and accommodating finding us a seat with a nice view. The service here is exceptional and the food is another level. This is one of the best lunches I've ever had, all the dishes were incredibly delicious with the Bug Rolls as a standout and the Lobster Dumplings. The view/location and vibe is outstanding with easy parking too. The price isn't too over the top, well deserved tip for such a great experience, I'll be recommending Rick Shores to my friends and I look forward to returning
We each ordered the $79 set meal and all the dishes were delicious, except for the duck which was too creamy and not as good as the others. The scallop and crab pie and the oysters are not included in the set but they are both flavorful and worth trying if you're visiting. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice for hanging out with family and friends. The standout dish of the day was the sashimi, which was fresh and appetizing.
The restaurant offers stunning ocean and beach views that are worth a visit, but the prices are on the higher side. We recently had a banquet for 11 people and cocktails, and enjoyed the experience. The food, while basic, was tasty and nicely presented. The atmosphere is dark and cave-like, with excellent service from the staff. Overall, it is a great spot for a special occasion, but be prepared to spend around $150 per person.

We recently attended for our daughter's after wedding lunch and everything we have ever heard about this place is true. The ambiance, the service, the view, the food, all of it was amazing. The staff and management went above and beyond to make our experience a wonderful and memorable one. My husband and I will definitely be back!! Well done, Gabi Harding.
This restaurant offers a spectacular Asian fusion experience. Our waiter asked about our favorite fish from the set menu, but we couldn't decide. The food was amazing, and the views would be beautiful on a sunny day. The service was excellent. Well done to all the staff. Make sure to make a reservation.
The best meal we had on the Gold Coast. Had the set menu, and worried there wouldn’t be enough food, but it was perfect! The views were sensational, venue was super trendy and staff were really fun and lovely. We had a great time and will have to remember Rick Shores for future trips.
Staff were most professional and a delight. The food was mostly wonderful. Scallops, Salmon and Bugs were great. Some side dishes and chips were oily. The mains were an absolute delight
