On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina Auburn Hills

My fiancé , sister and brother in law went to eat here tonight. We ordered and everything was fine. Half way threw our meal my mother and father in law met us here to surprise my fiancé for his birthday. My mother and father in law drove 9 hours from Iowa. When our waitress notice two more people sit down she starting being disrespectful to them. My mother in law asked if she could get a drink and the waitress responded with “ well I didn’t know you were joining my table” she brought the drink and rudely put in on the table. I watch her walk away and begin to talk about our table to another co worker while waving her hands in our direction and shaking her head. They only wanted drinks no food. The establishment didn’t close more a few more hours. There was no reason for the disrespect and making “your table” feel so uncomfortable I wish I got her name.

Took my daughter out to lunch. Salsa was to spicy. I ordered shredded chicken enchilada. Chicken was shredded and was unseasoned. Didn't even eat more than a quarter of it. It was practically a Chicken breast wrapped in fried tortilla. My daughter's Chicken tenders and fries look semi okay. She didn't have complaints. Had no complaints about the waiter. When I complained about my food he took it off our bill so I appreciated that. Definitely wouldn't recommend or go back

While my wife felt the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos were too spicy for her, the Bang Bang Shrimp Appetizer with cole slaw didn't seem to have much heat for me. Not blaming the restaurant, as spiciness is subjective, but what's important is that the food was good. Lastly, the staff was friendly and attentive, which leads me to want to visit this establishment again and try different menu items.

We came and mostly had drinks with a group. A few of us got food. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. The drinks were cheap and tasty. I recommend them for margaritas and custom drinks for sure.

Great service by the African American waitress I wish I got her name. Food was good. The meat was a little undercooked but overall good food. 2 meals and an appetizer cost about 60 bucks
