Tonight, our server was Marissa, and she truly exceeded our expectations. Not only was she knowledgeable, but she also had a fantastic sense of humor. She anticipated our needs perfectly, making our experience exceptional. We were fortunate to see Elena again, who wasn’t serving tonight but was helping by delivering food. She shared her marathon experiences with us, keeping us entertained for quite some time. Elena is such a dynamo! Every time we visit this place, we feel like part of the family. And just like every time we feel at home, the food was incredible! Between the three of us, we enjoyed tacos, fajitas, a burrito, and their always-amazing queso. I was really excited to try On The Border for the first time in years, but I ended up very disappointed. I placed my order online, and it said it would be ready in about 15 minutes. I arrived right on time, and the staff was very friendly, telling me my order would take about 10 more minutes. That was fine as long as my food was hot. However, several people who came in after me received their food before I did. Another staff member checked if I had been helped and went to look for my order in the back. About 10-15 minutes later, a server finally brought my food. When I got to my room and checked my order, it was wrong. The food clearly had been sitting for a while—it was salty and only lukew...
Last Wednesday, I ordered a Signature Queso, but it came without any chips—how is anyone supposed to enjoy it like that? Today, I ordered a two 3-item combo and another Signature Queso, but was disappointed again. My combo was incomplete, missing two flautas, and the queso I received as a reward was only half the usual size. I had to ask about the missing flautas and wait while they cooked them. The tacos had only half the meat and were missing lettuce and cheese. I even took photos to show exactly what I got. I used to love this place, but not anymore.
I was really disappointed with my experience and won’t be returning. The server seemed completely clueless, and my order was messed up. I asked for chicken but received steak instead. The cook, Chris, removed the unwanted steak and let my bowl sit while he cooked the chicken. He then put the chicken on top of the still-cold rice and beans. It felt very unprofessional. It seems like some employees are frustrated with their jobs, but the priority should always be to serve the customers!

Seating was quick, but due to limited staff, half of our party received their food almost five minutes before the other half. We were a group of eight. While I appreciated their efforts to manage, it was disappointing to pay a high price for a large party and experience this. The food was also overly salty—I'm a fan of salt, but this was too much. I’m not very eager to return anytime soon.
We decided to stop by because we really enjoy the food here. Unfortunately, the fajitas were quite bland this time. Usually, the food is excellent. The chips also tasted a bit strange; it seemed like the oil they were fried in was old. On the bright side, the drink was fantastic. It might have been an off day or perhaps a new cook. Overall, I left feeling a bit disappointed with the food.
This restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with ample space. The menu offers a great variety of options. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp fajitas, which were excellent. The waitress was very helpful and attentive. The prices were also quite reasonable. I highly recommend this place!
Are server tried real hard. They were out of a lot of stuff. Are kids had to wait 30 minutes to get a drink. Which was the kids Frozen drink no one told us that they were out of guacamole or queso way to try everything showed up I just said sorry we don't have it

Not the best of the mexican foods. Salsa with nachos are watery. Queso is not so good.
The Mexican food here is just average; I personally prefer a fresher flavor.
