It's a good meeting place and they have a lot of events here but I find it to be a lot quieter and the food really isn't the quality it used to be. I have had dirty glasses with fresh drinks brought to me, and have been there when there is one waitress serving a bar full of patron's. Needless to say there were many empty glasses in front of people The servers and manager are good and pleasant to deal with however there is a lot of room for improvement if they want to remain competitive in this market...
I make sure to visit OTR at least once a month for either lunch or dinner/drinks. The pub offers great service and the food tastes just like a home-cooked meal. During my last visit for lunch, I tried their special wrap which was delicious. The waffle fries with gravy are a must-try at OTR. The management and owners are also very supportive of the community. I will definitely keep supporting OTR and hope they continue serving food just the way they do now. Keep up the great work!
Went here with a friend for lunch. The place has a delightful ambiance. For my friend who drinks, it was a treat for them as there was a special on beers for Tuesday - buy one beer and get the second one free. And that was from time of opening to time of closing, all day Tuesday. We ordered wings; they were not the best. Overall, it is a cool place to hang out but I wont recommend it for meals - at least not based on my first experience.
I dine at this restaurant 3 or 4 times a week while working in town. They offer great specials and have a very good menu. The prices are fair and the service has always been excellent. Wednesday nights are wing night and open mic, which is very popular and entertaining. I highly recommend this place, so don't be fooled by the exterior of the building.
I used to come regularly with the old owner years ago it was good food and good service. Oh how things have changed. The food is below average. The service slow. You can tell the new owners had no experience in the food service business when they bought it and they still haven't manage to get things on track. Sad. Better off going to subway.
