One Eyed Rat - Réserver une table

Had a night in Ripon and was shocked to discover the state of the pubs. We expected black sheep bitter and log fires but it was like going back 20 years, john smiths and carling! The only decent pub we found was the one eyed rat! Decent cask ale, real pork pies and attentive staff. A shining light in the depressing Ripon pub scene. Would definitely return if stuck in the area again.

I can't find anything not to like. Including the crusty old locals and great bar staff. 6 fantastic real ales and I love the offer of 3 different thirds for the price of a pint. That's two pints at least. Just don't stop ! Thanks for a great pub.

A slight face-lift after the long-standing licensee's departure, but real ale is still the main focus. 6 well-kept beers on my Sunday visit. Large garden with dogs welcome. The Rat is back!

Lovely little pub, so cosy. What a selection of beers Try the pork pies if they have any left, really good. Dog friendly too.
