Telefonisch hatten wir für den letzten Abend einen Tisch in Onkel Toms Hütte bestellt. Die nehmen zwar keine Reservierungen an, geben aber eine ca. Zeit in der man vorbei kommen kann. Es war bei uns 19 Uhr.... als wir um 19 Uhr da waren, sagte man uns in ca 50 Min. hätte man einen Tisch für uns. Hmm.... o.k. also mit einem Getränk an einem "Wartetisch" im Innenbereich die Zeit überbücken. Draussen war auch nichts frei und fürs Essen wäre es uns wohl zu kühl gewesen, da wir auch keine Jacken dabei hatten. Wir bekamen nach 45 Min einen Tisch zugewiesen und hatten direkten Blick in den Pizzaofenbereich. Die Pizzen waren sehr lecker und die Bedienung freundlich. Allerdings schlägt eine mittlere...
came here on the recommendation of a friend. The manager Sonia took 10 minutes to sit on a table with another pair, although we were standing around and there were many other seats. Sonia then took the order of the other people on the table of SAME as we and served their drinks. She ignored me and my girlfriend, although we tried several times to get her attention. It was a busy night, but that didn't seem to stop them serving other customers in the restaurant. We stayed 20 minutes without service. When Sonia asked the question that he was racist towards us, this was clearly the case. Honestly, I am disappointed and would not recommend this place at all. Don't worry if you're not Caucasian.
Wer mal Lust hat eine Pizza zu essen in Grindelwald - dem empfehle ich dieses Lokal.- Sehr klein - auch die Sommerterasse ist sehr klein :-)- Nichtraucherlokal auch auf der Terasse- Sehr freundliche - nicht allzu schnelle Bedienung - aber die Freundlichkeit macht alles wett.- Leider ist keine Reservierung möglich.- Pizzas werden auf dem Kuchenblech gemacht und sind in 3 verschiedenen Grössen erhältlich.- Es ist möglich eine mittlere Pizza unterschiedlich zu belegen - für alle die einen normalen Hunger verspüren und doch unterschiedliche Gelüste (pizzamässig) verspüren.- Essen eher im oberen Bereich für eine Pizzeria - aber es lohnt sich
Pizza was pretty damn good. We were 3 people and ordered a large and a medium already knowing it would be a lot of food. We were then surprised to see that that actually made the medium a large as well by mistake . We definitely ate our money 's worth! The crust and flavors of the pizzas were very good. This was the best meal we had in Jungfrau. We called in advance to put our name on the list (not sure how this isn 't a reservation . The cabin has a cool and cozy setup. Not too thrilled with the name.
The best pizza we have ever tasted. Great to return here after many years. Everything still the same and just as good salad, pizza and chocolate cake. Closes between 2pm and 4pm which is not clear when searching online Google search and restaurant website indicate open all day. Fantastic wine list with many options at a reasonable price reasonable for Switzerland!
Hatten dort 4 verschiedene Pizzen, alle sehr lecker und auch ausreichend groß. Reservierung wurde zwar offiziell verneint, unter der Hand wurde uns jedoch auf tel. Anfrage ein Tisch reserviert. Hütte war auch bis auf den letzten Platz voll. Sehr gute und umfangreiche Weinkarte. Preise akzeptabel. Service sehr nett.
This is a darling little cabin with some of the best pizza we’ve had! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was outstanding. We showed up for an early dinner and were seated almost immediately. The venue is small so be prepared to wait if you are there during peak hours but it’s worth the wait!
