I want start by saying the location and ambience are beautiful, and the staff were lovely. When we walked in, it met all of our expectations and then some.Things went south quickly after we ordered food. My partner has a tree nut allergy. It is not life threatening, but it makes their life (and our evening) very unpleasant if they happen to ingest tree nuts. Luckily, most restaurants are conscientious about listing potential allergens on their menu, so it is something we check for and can typically steer clear of. My partner had an allergic reaction about 5 minutes after our food arrived. We triple-checked the menu--no mention of tree nuts or potential allergens anywhere. My partner was fine...
Kind of a shame to have a darling new wine bar have its reputation sullied at such a crucial time, this place does not deserve to be a 3.8 rating because it’s brand new and has a 1 star rating about rude hosts. There are so much more crucial elements to a great dining experience that really matter -and for the record the host the night I visited was LOVELY and gorgeous inside and out, she was a gem. Fun little spot, will bring my vaccination card next time so I can dine inside, from the outside the interior looks cozy, beautiful and interesting! Will be back!
Fun natural wine bar with vegetarian eats and a cool vibe in the former Otheroom space. Now a bright, happy space filled with great smells, happy music and a fantastic staff! Our server, Finn, was knowledgeable and super cool expertly guiding us through the menu and wine list. Highlights were the Pet-nat, the Wild spritzer (think sunset on the Med), the arbiatta pizza and the truffle chips. We were there on a Saturday, and they had a DJ spinning chill house and happy grooves. It's an awesome spot to enjoy a few hours during a night out on the Kinney!
This restaurant is fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and they are able to create a bustling atmosphere without making customers feel crowded. They also have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, the food, and the staff! If I could, I would give this restaurant 6 out of 5 stars. Thank you once again! Great spot to grab some wine with friends, also perfect for a date. I really like what they’ve done with the interior, very cool vibes. Their wine selection is excellent (especially their offering of orange wines) and service is always good. You can run up a bill fairly easily here, but you’ll thoroughly enjoy yourself.
We came across this restaurant while exploring Abbot Kinney and had a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful with a wide variety of wines, beers, and cocktails. Our bartender was very friendly and even suggested some other local spots to visit. Highly recommend stopping here while in Venice Beach.
