We've been regulars at this restaurant for years and have always loved their sushi, which was remarkable for a small local spot. However, about six weeks ago, the staff changed, and unfortunately, so did the quality of the sushi. We gave it three chances, hoping it would improve, but after our last visit, where we ended up throwing away half our order, we've officially decided to stop going to Onsen. The sushi is often warm, soft, and lacks a fresh taste. The quality just isn't what it used to be. It's really disappointing to lose this place, especially since we used to enjoy their sushi three out of every four Fridays. Now we need to find a new favorite.
The best sushi on Long Island!! So fresh, so delicious! I come here at least once a month and if I lived closer I would come more often. The Osaka roll is my go to, HIGHLY recommend!!
