Heading to Bordeaux Merignac airport you normally take exit 11b but take 11a leads down to a roundabout and you will find Opanda Chinese/Asian restaurant. Airport then is only 4 mins away. Chinese restaurant where you can eat your fill, lunch 13.90 and dinner 19.90 euros so is great value.Service, OK but it's self service , I think you can have waiter service also. Variety of starters is extensive and are tasty. Mains, again lots of choices but can taste bland with heavy use of batter and deep fried, Buy hey, that suits some people also. O'Panda has a great choice of food / buffetts, salad bar ,wok, plancha & tastey soup and also a large choice of desserts.Lunch is €13.90 and dinner is €19.90; drinks not included. Lots of seating space for couples and or larger groups. It is close to Merignac airport and easy to find, being just off of the Rocade/motorway. Parking is not an issue although at lunch times it can be busey. I Aslo found it to be the only resturant that i have had to que up to pay my bill as this is all done at the single till at the main enterance, so be aware as you may need to plan your exit if you are in a rush.
Après avoir séjourné dans la région avant de prendre l'avion depuis Bordeaux adjacent et à proximité des hôtels de la région, j'ai visité ce restaurant. Format français standard pour la cuisine chinoise, payez votre repas et mangez autant que vous le souhaitez. Si vous arrivez vers 19 heures, la nourriture n'est pas vraiment chaude. Après 20 heures, c'est mieux. C'est agréable d'avoir tous les fruits frais pour le dessert. Un peu plus cher que la cuisine chinoise française normale, d'habitude je paie environ 19€ pour un repas et au maximum 2 boissons. Celui-ci demande environ 24€.

J'y suis allé ce soir, assez occupé et le personnel était plutôt agréable. La nourriture était tiède et très fade. J'ai demandé un sauté thaïlandais plus épicé et on m'a donné quelque chose qui était au niveau de piquant vindaloo ! J'ai goûté le porc froid aigre-doux et le riz bouilli a été pris à l'arrière, transformé en riz frit spécial, mais le personnel mettait la nourriture chaude sur le dessus, ce qui me fait me demander si une partie de la nourriture était là. depuis l'heure du déjeuner ! Le buffet et la bière coûtaient 23,70 euros ! Je ne recommanderais cela à personne !
Went this evening, quite busy and the staff were quite pleasant. The food was luke warm and very bland.I asked for a spicier Thai stir fry and was given something that was at vindaloo level of hotness !I sampled the sweet and sour pork ( cold and the boiled rice was taken into the back, changed into special fried rice but the staff were putting the the hot food on top, which makes me wonder if some of the food has been there since lunch time !Buffet and beer was 23.70 euros ! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone !

Vous demandez à la serveuse (ou serveur) une table et vous pouvez prendre à tout moment tout ce que vous voulez manger. Vous devez demander les boissons au comptoir. Une attention particulière est portée aux plats préparés au wok. Une cuisine bonne et sans prétention.
This is a chinese restaurant with a lot of starters, main dishes (hot or cold, fish or meat). less than 2km from Merignac airport you enter in a buffet restaurant. You ask to the waitress (or waiter) for a place and take anytime all you want to eat. You have to request drink at the desk . A special attention to the "wok food". Good and unsophisticated food.

This being our second visit, shall hesitate before going again.Our first visit good but this last one not very good, food rather cld and bland in flavour.Handy as nearby our hotel but shall give it a mss in future, sorry as we do enjoy a good Chinese?
