Discovered Oporto 10 years ago when I spent a year in Australia, determined to eat at as many Oporto’s I can find during this jaunt around Australia. The Oporto on 900 Pittwater Road was along our way to a friends’ house so we stopped to get the Oporto fix I needed. Service was helpful, food came out quickly and it is priced right. The sauce seems to have changed a bit, seems more oily than I remember but still quite tasty on my Oporto burger, fries were good and crispy and the soda helped wrap up the Oporto dining experience. Nothing fancy but good quality food, quickly and not going to hurt my wallet.

This recent addition to the cuisine scene on Wharf Street, opposite Woolworth, deserve a mention !The décor is sedate and uncluttered and the staff efficient and friendly. The menu is massive and its BYO.The service is timely and on cool evenings the plates come hot. Food quality and quantity are superior andvery generous. The tab will not break you. We have been three times and shall keep going back.It' s a must try if staying at Coolangatta/Tweed Heads !B.F.
This is a great spot to grab some snacks in the evening. The fresh spicy chicken bites and Bondi bites we ordered were delicious. The chilli cheese fries could have been spicier. I deducted one star for charging for sauces (which is a common practice at all Oportos).
