"We caught on to this place by good luck and ended up coming back. We did have to wait a while for a table but used this time to study the menu chalk board. It's basically a tent with an attached cooking trailer in the harbour area of Doelan. Plastic cups and benches are not swish but the fish dishes are so authentic and extremly good. It's a great experience."

Simple makeshift restaurant on the quay of Doëlans harbour. Very informal, with plastic chairs or even wooden benches at shared tables. Food is prepared in a mobile kitchen with the cooks in full view. Limited menu, all very fresh and fishy. Extraordinary desserts!!! And as cherry on the cake: nescafé !? The night we were there there was live music, the noght after (when we ate at nearby and a lot classier La Doëlannaise) we heared singing too.All in all reasonable food (and excellent dessert!) in a great atmosphere.

Makeshift restaurant on the harbour side. Cooks prepare the food in front of you and you sit on long benches at shared tables. Plastic crockery and plastic knives and forks. The food however is to die for! Fresh fish in all forms. Even my two...fussy children loved the salmon kebabs. Sophie seems to run it and is lovely ...explaining (in French) to people like me (with school girl language skills) what each dish was. Desserts were delicious too. Will definitely return.
