Having been in the place a week before and enjoyed a pint of their Oran Dark, I visited again with a friend a couple of days after and Oran Dark was off. A friendly barman explained an alternative I might enjoy (can 't remember what it was)..and I did enjoy it. Òran Mór is everything you didn't know you were looking for in Glasgow. It's got a warm atmosphere, friendly locals, and just the right level of lively. Whether you're dodging the rain or just need a pint and a bit of soul, this place delivers. You might come in to dry off, but you’ll probably stay for the vibe. A beautiful, unique ,atmospheric venue. The meal pre-gig was lovely and staff were friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. The Irish malt of the day was superb ...so I had three. Very fairly priced and got an unexpected discount as we had tickets for Cloudbusting- who were was also superb. Will be back often. Thank you.
Highly recommended! I had the pleasure of experiencing both the bar and the event space at Òran Mór. The bar provided a warm and inviting atmosphere, almost cozy, complemented by a diverse and well-curated menu.

I visited Òran Mór twice during my time in Glasgow. It’s a unique and spacious venue housed in a beautifully converted old church, offering a bar, a restaurant, and much more.
The staff were quite rude. When my friend accidentally spilled a drink on me, they insisted that I pay for a small roll of blue paper towels.
